Enter 3D in the search box. This search returns only shapes that have the term “3D” in their name, so the results might not be a complete list. To find 3D shapes and stencils online, search the Microsoft Download Center for Visio shapes. Some people and companies outside of Microsoft are also creating 3D shapes.
Hi Juliette, To get a 3D view in Visio 2016 sheet, 3D Visioner is a good tool to achieve that. As the draws may have compatibility issue with the 3D Visioner 2017, you need the previous 3D Visioner and you can get it as a standalone application from this link.

Visio works mainly in two dimensions, but it includes some three-dimensional (3D) shapes. Here are a few ways to find them. Browse your diagram type. Some diagram types, such as FlowChart, Maps, and Network, have built-in stencils of 3D shapes. Browse for some in the Shapes window—click More Shapes, then point to the diagram type you’re creating. Look for “3D” in the stencil name.

– Oil refineries
– Water treatment facilities
– Any plant that produces a product in liquid form!

For years one of Japan’s top Visio experts, Junichi Yoda, has offered his 3D Isometric Piping shapes to download for free. I’ve long loved these shapes (having studied mechanical engineering myself), and have put off far showcasing them on Visio Guy for far, far too long!
